Hanauma Bay

Awesome Sea Turtle

Hanauma Bay is a beautiful protected bay here in Hawaii that is a huge tourist attraction, because the fish aren't speared or fished for they swim very close to you. We can see much of these fish right down the street at the beach near our house, but they stay pretty far away in comparsion.

While Bryan and Stephanie were here we decided that it would nice to go to Hanuama Bay since its free for us being military and only cost $5 to get in for them. Plus, the beach is nice and Bryan and Stephanie could switch off with me and Jaron watching the kids. It was so awesome getting the chance to snorkel around with Jaron and look at all the beautiful fish. As you can see we got to see an awesome sea turtle eating Algae off the coral rocks. He wasn't the least bit afraid. We were lucky that we got to see him.
