Boys and Girls

Since starting school Elijah has been talking about boys and girls more and more. When Elijah started a month and half ago in preschool he had two little boys and two little girls in his class. Well being on a military base things change quickly, so now Elijah is currently the only boy in his class. So he has been insisting that he needs another boy in his class. He tells me everyday, "Mom I need a boy in my class".

Then today we were in the car and Elijah wanted some gum so we gave him a piece and of course Ava wanted a piece so we thought we would give it a try. Elijah proclaimed, "Girls don't eat gum" and Jaron replied, "Mommy is a girl and she eats gum". Elijah's come back, "Mommy isn't a girl she's a mommy".

So the boy girl thing is going to take some time for him to get I think, but its cute to see the world through his eyes.
