After Jaron being gone all week for work we had the chance to get settled into our house a little more. So that means I got to put up the Christmas Tree and well the kids actually helped to decorate this year. Elijah was pretty on board with decorating and would put all the ornaments in one spot, while Ava just liked putting the ornaments on and off. Elijah has it figured out that the Christmas Tree means Santa which equal presents. So he keeps asking if his "robot toy is here yet". So its going to be a long three weeks until Christmas.
As for the rest of our excitement we made it down to the beach near our house. There are a lot rocks so we had to walk over to a cove where there was more sandy beach and the waves weren't breaking to hard onto the shore. We will for sure visit here from time to time, but will need to go to some more kid friendly beaches. Ava and Elijah just loved the beach though. Ava went straight for the water, which of course is scary. Elijah liked looking for crabs on the rock wall and snails in the surf.
Overall we had a pretty good weekend. I just need to get the house complete together so it can be done, but we have been in our house for the less then a week, so I need to cut myself some slack.
