Santa Claus has arrived here to K-bay

We made a trip out to see Santa today. They had a little winter village set up so the kids could see Santa, watch dancing, and face painting. Ava was kinda cranky because she didn't sleep well last night, but Elijah was all about it. When Elijah finally arrived to Santa's lap he became star struck and didn't know what to say so he just looked and grinned from check to check. (By the way Elijah has been asking for a toy digger now for a week and is said when Santa has come to bring it and will say "not yet, right?) Ava on the other hand became glued to Jaron and there was noway possible she going to see that crazy old man. After our brief visit with Santa we headed over for face painting. Elijah got an awesome dragon on his arm instead of his face so he admire it without having to look into a mirror. Ava on the other hand wanted a face painting, but didn't want one all at the same time. So all in all it was a successful trip out for the Nix Gang. I think each year things a get a little more fun with the kids, because they are finally able to acknowledge what is going on.
