The kids have a bunk bed now. We found one that we thought was pretty low to the ground making a bit safer then some of the much higher bunk beds out there on the market. Elijah and Ava have been sharing a room now for over a year and really enjoy it, so they will stay together for a couple more years. Now that we adding another to the Nix gang a small three bedroom house is starting to feel even smaller, so we are trying to figure out how to make space where we can.
After several hours of assembly with the kids help, they were able to test out their new bed. Elijah climbed right up and was very excited while Ava snuggled right down for a little rest.

The kids have now had their bunk bed for a couple of weeks and are doing awesome. Elijah is being very responsible being on the top bunk and Ava so far has stayed off the top bunk. Elijah calls it his tall bed and well Ava just loves having a huge bed to lay in.
