Sledding Anyone?

Since we haven't gotten any real snow down here in Denver, so we decided to take the kids to the snow in the mountains. Jaron and Nate went for a day of snowboarding, so Karen and I took the kids up later in the day to do a little sledding with the kids. We met Jaron and Nate up at Loveland Ski Area and let the kids sled at the bottom of the hill. After it started to get a little crowded and we noticed the no sledding sign we decided to go find a off beaten path further up the mountain and do some sledding there, but it turned out not to be one our best ideas. The snow was pretty deep which totally freaked Elijah out every time he tried to stand up and would sink in it. Then Elijah got way to cold and started to cry and carry on so we had to leave. I can't blame the little guy because when you get cold playing in the snow it is very painful. Ava didn't want anything to do with sledding was completely content just watching the action and very cute while doing it. Jaron took her down a couple of times and she just wined and cried the entire time.
