A Look into a Day at the Nix': Christmas, Snow, and more fun.....

Well we are still in Colorado and getting prepared to head back home. We had a pretty good trip on the way up and we hope that it is the same for the way back home. We had a great Christmas here at Nanny and Grandpa's. It actually snowed all day Christmas. We had a WHITE Christmas!!!! The kids both love their toys and time spent with the Page's is priceless We had a casual lunch followed by a few games.

The next few days we spent going up into the mountains for snowboarding. A big thanks to David, Kim, Maddy, and Brenden for keeping the kids, especially Ava. I am sure all of your arms a little stronger. Jaron's high school friend Bryan and Stephanie joined us for the weekend and we went snowboarding one day. Ava had to go up the mountain with the last time, because she misses her mommy to much to be left. We were sad not to make it up the mountain another day because the weather did not permit.

We found snow suits for the kids and had a great time going out playing in the snow. Elijah wouldn't stop eating it. We found a decent hill for Elijah to ride down a little saucer slide thingy. He thought that was the greatest thing ever.

Ava's big accomplishments while here is she begun to pull herself around even more and actually gets up on all four and rocks back and forth.

We thank most of all Nanny and Grandpa for having us and letting us turn their house into a nursery and chaos. We thank Nate and Karen for going up with us the first day and we loved spending time with you guys. A big thanks to Mike and Sherry for having us for dinner. Thanks Bryan and Stephanie for coming out hanging with us.
