We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my Mom and Art down in Central Florida. Thanks Mom and Art for making it so easy and special for us. We went to the park during a our visit. Even though the picture attempt was not very sucessful, the park was a whole lot of fun.
We went up to Jacksonville and visited with my Aunt Michele and her family for a while and it was nice to see them all. Thanks for another Thanksgiving Lunch! :) Then we visited with my Dad, Lisa and Brother (and his girls), which was fun as always. My Dad gave the kids their Christmas gifts early. Dad and Lisa did such a great job buying for them. Elijah loves his drum set!!! It's funny everyone tells you not to buy to many toys for your kids because they just play with the box. It holds true in this household. Elijah pulled the drum out of the box and climbed in, he didn't even play the drum until we got home like 2 days later. At home he uses the box as his personal briefcase for toting toys around in the house. Kudos to you Dad and Lisa, for the drum set and briefcase. Ava loves the drum set too and her Leapfrog rattles are great.
Elijah's new favorite thing is jumping and lots of it. He jumps on, over and off everything. His new surprise for the week is when looking at a Where's Waldo book, he actually found him (Waldo) all by himself.
Ava's favorite thing to do is peek-a-boo. She pulls her blanket over her head and waits for me to say "Where's Ava", then she pulls it down with a big smile. She is also, rolling, pushing, and scooting her way around. She also, loves watching brother go under the water at bath time.
