Dear Elijah

Dear Elijah,

It's hard to believe you are finishing your 1st grade year. Since the beginning of te year your class has had show and tell every Wednesday. We tend to forget to put something in your backpack and well you said we were "the forgetful family" since
we never remember show and tell. Thankfully, you've gotten better at remembering the days of the week now that you have gymnastics Tuesday and Thursday.

Today we found a millipede in the house in which we put into an old peanut butter jar so we could watch what seemed like a million legs moving
around as he walked. You asked if you could take him for show and tell and
Well I couldn't bare to say No. I'm not sure how your teacher felt about it but my heart swelled watching you be so happy about something so simple in nature and not something from the store.

May your love for nature and curosorty always be with you.
